He states that the alliance with Opuspac made available all the automation for the hospital’s pharmacy and ICU, increasing efficiency, reducing costs and increasing patient safety. All this Opuspac automation system prepares Hospital Unimed Bauru for the future.
According to the president of Unimed Bauru Dr. Aparecido Donizete Agostinho, the investments are intended to offer a qualified and safe service with a focus on the cost-benefit issue.

Dr. Aparecido Donizete Agostinho (Unimed Bauru President), Fernando Capabianco (Opuspac Logistics Manager), Marcus Vinícius de O. Gomes and José Roberto Palhares (Unimed Bauru Manager)

“We are grateful for the opportunity to complete automation within the Unimed Bauru hospital. This event is absolutely important to you.
Opuspac goes to many hospitals asking: “How much do you earn with this?” And the answer: “Oh, we are doing a lot!”
With this type of response, it is not possible to introduce new technologies, since they require automation, information, data and connections.
But, with this acquired equipment (Opuspick) it allows the digitalization of the flows of materials and medicines inside the hospital. From there you can apply Artificial Intelligence and whatever is necessary for improvements. Because without data digitization it is impossible to take the next step for emerging technologies.
Opuspac is present in 750 hospitals in 21 countries, with 11 years in the market. Its objective is to add value to the health area, that is our function and we are working hard on the issue of waste to substantially improve the profitability of the health system that so badly needs it, especially after the pandemic.
We thank them and we know that Opuspac is committed to this path that Unimed Bauru is taking”. (Victor Basso – CEO Opuspac)
With the acquisition of the Opuspac automated system, Unimed Bauru innovates and takes a big step towards the future in terms of hospital automation and logistics, patient safety, control and digitization of material and drug flows. Unimed Bauru is paving the way for many other Unimed units.
