We are a Brazilian company with a Solution for Hospital and United Logistics, integrated by equipment, software, technical assistance, materials, knowledge with the Opuspac Corporate University and consultancy aimed at reducing waste (Muda) with Lean Healthcare, reduce Adverse Events (Patient Safety) on a platform that organizes the management of hospital flows (Vi-Blue).

A Opuspac turned 16 in August/2024, and in this moment of celebration, we want to express our gratitude to you for being part of our journey.

In these years, we have had many achievements and we want to continue counting on everyone for the next challenges and opportunities that will come.

A story that deserves to be told

In 2008 we developed a machine to automate the process of unit dose and we start from scratch.

At one point, a few years ago, one of the partners said:

“These people in the hospital area have a lot of problems, we should help them.”

We set the objective of Patient safety in the company's mission, and then things started to change. As engineers, we decided to graduate in Quality e Patient safety.

The process began to accelerate. Our clients realized that our passion for this topic was real.

Currently, we are a medium-sized company in rapid development, present in more than 1.000 hospitals in 27 countries.

The information provided by the System Opuspac It is a good help for the nursing team, who are the potential second victims of the process.

We converted the single-dose packaging into a means of communication.

We develop software, machines and systems to induce the reading of the name of the medicine. We added Doctors to our team Pharmacists to develop all 90 layouts and we evolved to automation complete, making it simple and low cost.

We intend to make our solutions accessible to hospital institutions of any size, in several countries.

The MK5 oral liquid medication fractionation machine allowed us to better adapt the dispensing process of most medications in liquid pharmaceutical form for oral/enteral use previously available in multi-dose vials. With the acquisition of this automated solution, the pharmacy service had a significant increase in productivity in the Unitary Dose Pharmacy, starting to produce sachets with fractionated volumes of fully traceable liquid medicines, with DataMatrix code, with safety alerts on their packaging, with signage for controlled medications and those with reduced validity. It reduced losses due to sharing bottles and minimized the risk of adverse events due to the availability of these medications in care units. Sachet packaging is economical, practical, easy to use and easy to open.
